Walk Wild Wales

Walk Wild Wales (WWW) was established because the leader, Rob Knowles, is passionate about walking and the wonderful Welsh countryside and enjoys sharing that passion with others. A variety of well organised guided long-distance walks are offered each year some along the magnificent coast and some in the wild hills and mountains for which Wales is renowned. Prices are kept as low as possible and depend on numbers, location etc so please phone for confirmation.

Each day the group meets at a car park where that day's walk will end and where the cars are left. Locally arranged transport takes everyone to the start of that day's walk and the group walk back to the cars. People can find accommodation, hotels, bed and breakfast or campsites, wherever they wish since they will arrive back at their car at the end of each day. WWW do not provide accommodation but can often recommend places to stay based on the experience of others. Some walkers stay in one location for the entire trip whilst others move on each day or choose two or three locations as a base, the choice is theirs.

Route cards are created to ensure that walking days are not too long and are full of interesting facts about the local area. A light-hearted and enjoyable experience that is focused on the satisfaction of achieving the completion of these long-distance walks is the aim.
